East Anglian Model Railway Exhibition 2017

Thank you to all exhibitors, traders, demonstrators, societies, bus crew and stewards who joined us this weekend, I would like to say a big thank you on behalf of St Neots Model Railway Club for helping to make this exhibition a success but I am also very grateful for all of the help I receive from St Neots Model Railway Club members and directly or indirectly, their family members also contribute a huge amount.

We welcomed some 2850 visitors (not counting under 5s) and thank you for the comments we received on the feedback forms. Two winners were selected at random from the many who completed feedback forms and they have each been sent a family ticket for next year's exhibition on 10th & 12th March 2018. Make sure all of you put this date in your diary.

With so many people attending, unfortunately the car park had to be closed twice for about 5 minutes each time because it was full and backing up down the A1198 but we will meet with the staff at Wood Green to try and prevent such an occurrence next year.

Chris Mead and 'Overlord' scooped both the Jim Curle Shield(for best layout as voted by Godmanchester Town Mayor, Cllr Peter Morgan) and the Brian Rawlings Shield (for best layout as voted by the public).

Plans for 2018 are well underway with most layouts secured so watch this website for more details soon.

Message from Jackie Younger, Exhibition Manager

East Anglian Model Railway Exhibition 2017.

We also really appreciated help from our neighbouring Model Railway Clubs and I have also sent my thanks to all of the staff involved at Wood Green Animal Charity Centre for supporting our event - they do a great job.

See you next year .....
